The research uses a qualitative approach, supported by qualitative
data, to provide a broader explanation. The quantitative approach
is carried out through a survey method by interviewing independent
extension workers based on a questionnaire. The collected data
was processed using Microsoft Excel and presented descriptively
in the form of frequency tabulations. The results showed that, in
general, self-help extension workers had carried out their extension
functions well. Of all the functions carried out, the one that self-
help extension workers still need to improve in order to empower
the agribusiness community is their ability to grow leadership,
management, and entrepreneurship, as well as their efforts to grow
the organization.
