APJJI Members

APJJI members come from various segments of the society, especially
those who have stakes and interests in distance education :

1. Members consist of distance education experts, practitioners, lecturers,
teachers and alumni of distance education institutions and UT.

2. Special Members consist of distance education observers.
3. Honorary Members consist of leaders of distance education institutions and

extraordinary citizens appointed for their position , role and contribution to the
development of distance education .

4. Members and Special Members must register themselves to the Association.

APJJ I Autho rity

APJJI has the authority to conduct the following activities.
1. Giving distance education awards for the achievement of individual , group, or

institution in pioneering , developing, managing and enhancing distance
education practice.

2. Giving other forms appreciation other than distance education awards .
3. Assisting study programs and basic and secondary education unit applying
distance education system .
