Lindu National Park area are population density (X ), distance

from settlements (X ), distance from main roads (X ), distance

from the capital city (X ) and topographical conditions (X ). The

five variables, the population density variable has the highest
negative regression coefficient of -0.068. The regression equation
Y = -0,094X − 0,157X - 0,176X - 0,083X - 0,068X , with a

significance level of 0.001 less than 0.05 which indicates that these
five factors greatly influence the high land change in Lore Lindu
National Park. The results of this study explain that the increase
in population density in Lore Lindu National Park has a significant
effect on decreasing the area of forest area. Management policy
for the National Park area is needed to limit the rate of increase in
population around Lore Lindu National Park.
