“Accelerating Sustainable innovation towards Society 5.0”

Society 5.0 represents a sustainable society that is
comprehensively connected through digital technology for various
needs and purposes, thus enabling its citizens to live a better life
through high-quality services regardless of age, gender, region,
language, etc. The United Nations established the Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015 to bring peace and
prosperity to all people with an inclusivity approach, thus “leaving no
one behind.” Some of the Guiding Principles for the Implementation of
SDGs in the fields of science, technology, and innovation (STI) consist
of the following:
a. Creating a future through Society 5.0
b. Enabling solutions utilizing interconnectivity through big data
c. Promoting cooperation and collaborations at a global scale
d. Fostering human resources to advance science, technology, and
innovation further.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The “Society 5.0” strongly correlates with
many scientific and technological advancements. It can improve all
human life as proposed in the Sustainable Development Goals
mission statement. A balance between the utilization of technology
and its service to society is essential for us potentially contribute to
global prosperity across all populations and preserving the nature and
nd
diversity of all organisms. Our seminar today, the 2 International
Seminar of Science and Technology, is part of our faculty’s
commitment to spreading and implementing many important
messages related to the Society 5.0 paradigm and Sustainable
Development Goals.

I wish all the Speakers, Presenters, and Participants have a
pleasant time at our seminar, and, more importantly, are able to gain
and exchange many novel ideas on Sustainable Innovation toward
