ditransfer, pengirim data akan menggunakan sandi (password)
pada data tersebut. Namun untuk mengantisipasi bocornya sandi
tersebut, maka pengirim data perlu memasang sandi secara
berlapis. Banyaknya lapisan sandi pada data tersebut dapat
ditentukan dengan konsep terhubung pelangi pada graf. Konsep
ini dikembangkan oleh Chartrand dkk. pada tahun 2008 untuk
mengatasi kelemahan dalam pengamanan pengiriman informasi
antar agen rahasia Amerika Serikat. Artikel ini merupakan hasil studi
literatur. Untuk memudahkan pemahaman, pembahasan dalam
artikel ini dimulai dengan pemaparan tentang terminologi graf dan
konsep terhubung pelangi pada graf. Selanjutnya, dalam artikel
dibahas tentang bilangan terhubung pelangi dari beberapa kelas
graf dan hasil operasi graf yang merepresentasikan kompleksitas
sistem jaringan komunikasi.

ABSTRACT

In today’s digital era, technological innovation is growing rapidly. It
aligns with human goals to achieve Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs). One of the technology-based supporting components
needed to achieve the SDGs is a digital public communication
system, further referred to as a digital communication system. In this
case, the data transfer system is a form of digital communication
that is often used by the public. As can be seen clearly, the scope
of digital communication systems is very wide, massive, and open.
Therefore, security in data transfer systems is fundamental in
digital communication systems. The sender will use a password
to maintain the security of the data being transferred. However, to
anticipate the leakage of the password, the data sender needs to
use a password in layers. The rainbow connection concept of the
graph can determine the number of layers in the data. This concept
was developed by Chartrand et al. in 2008 to address weaknesses
