PBIS4312 – Writing II (Edisi 2)

Deskripsi Mata Kuliah

The course of Writing II/PBIS4312 discusses the various types of texts in terms of both concept and practice. Students will be given an explanation of the concept and practice of writing various types of texts, starting with the theory and practice of planning; writing and revising; then continue with writing discussion text, analytical exposition, hortatory exposition, review, response to literary works, letter, critical writing, and essay text writing. In addition, students will also be provided with the meaning of the concepts related to the text, the terms about the text itself, the context, and the inter-textuality. Besides, students will also be introduced with some of the criteria of the characteristics of a good text and some concepts relating to the grammar used in each kind of the text.
