PBIS4306 – Speaking III (Edisi 2)

The Learning Material of PBIS4306 Speaking III is developed to train the students to enhance the competence to speak English in various communication forums such as public speeches, group discussions, panel discussions, debates, seminars and symposiums. To master these competencies, the students are encouraged to learn speaking theretically and practice speaking. The topics covered in this course include the definition og public speech, organizing informastion in public speeches, the basic theory and language expressions and functions in group discussions, panel discussions, presenting and managing a successful panel discussions, the basic theory of debate and its relevant language function, seminar, presenting and managing a successful seminar, concepts and principles of symposium, and symposium in practice. To study this course students are required to perform the exercise given in each activity to practice speaking.
