Mahasiswa akan dibawa untuk menyelami industri pariwisata termasuk mengenal para pihak yang terlibat, yakni pemerintah (pemerintah daerah), pengusaha pariwisata, komunitas pariwisata, akademisi, dan media. Mahasiswa juga diperkenalkan pada seluruh usaha-usaha pariwisata berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2009 tentang Kepariwisataan. Ada 13 jenis usaha pariwisata, mulai dari usaha daya tarik wisata hingga usaha spa.
